This year's Trinity Grammar School Gala Music Concert features works that speak to us of time and place, sights and sounds, and emotional states that are reflections of our humanity, brought to us by our senses and experienced in our brain. The beauty of music as an art form is that it can provide this state of mind from the comfort of your chair, in real time. Join us on a Road Trip with the Big Band; exploring Paris in 'Paris Sketches' performed by the Symphonic Wind Band; breathe in the scent of the flowers of the field with Vaughan Williams' “Flos Campi”; find yourself in the French Revolution in Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique, or allow the music to take you deep inside your own emotions in Beethoven's Emperor Piano Concerto, Dvorak's Cello Concerto and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.6.
